Dear Family and Friends,
I am so pleased to write this short post as I am about to embark a 14 and a half hour plane to the country of the Philippines! I will travel to the Philippines this summer from June 21 to July 10 with the First Baptist Church of Spring Valley (in California) youth missions trip. We will be ministering in the cities and towns of Manila, Tanay, Antipolo, Payatas, Batangas, Lucena, and Coron. Our goals are to work with numerous schools (over 1,000 students), several jail and nursing home ministries (visiting around 500 individuals), a few churches and youth rallies, in addition to hosting a Bible Basketball camp for young men and a Bible Volleyball camp for young ladies. Our schedule is packed for the two and a half weeks that we will be in the Philippines, but I am excited to see how many people we will get to minister to and share the gospel of Christ!
I would ask for prayer partners who would help me by committing to pray for me and the team of 17 that I will be traveling with (my sister Hannah Loo is also coming! :), and for what The Lord will do in the Philippines this summer! Please ask God if He would have YOU be a part of my prayer team to minister to the people and children of the Philippines. I know that I have a BIG GOD who has promised to meet my every need and I am thrilled to see Him work in the next couple of weeks!
Our flight leaves tomorrow (Saturday, June 21) night and we will arrive on Monday morning (Philippines time). I will be sending updates and posting pictures on both Facebook and this blog, so stay tuned to see what all goes on in the Philippines!
